Configuring webmail for your Nokia device
The ability to access email from your mobile phone is easy, versatile and essential for today's mobile lifestyle. Just like on your home or office computer, mobile email allows you to send and receive emails and attachments like files, pictures and videos. After configuring your email settings for your Nokia smartphone* the next step is to choose a web-based service provider such as Yahoo! or Gmail. Below we detail how to set up your web mail access with Yahoo!

If you are a Yahoo! Asia customer you can access Yahoo! email for free (e.g. if you have an Yahoo Asia email account such as user@yahoo.com.sg or user@yahoo.com.th, etc.) For @yahoo.com customers you will have to pay a yearly fee of U.S. $19.00 to access your account.

How to select a default email service
No pre-selection is necessary. The email accounts are listed under the Messaging application. If you have only one email account set up, that account will be used as the default email service.

How to check for new email message
1. Access the Main Menu
2. Select Messaging
3. Select the desired email account
4. Select Options
5. Select Retrieve email
6. Select New

Please note: If you cannot find your email provider in the preloaded "E-mail Provider" list in Settings Wizard, please select "Other" option to enter the settings manually. These settings can be obtained directly from your service operator or email provider.

Get 3rd party email applications of Nokia phones using Symbian Operating System.
Google Mail
Enter the URL http://mobile.google.com in your phone web browser and download the Gmail application. Data charges may apply for application usage.
Yahoo Mail
Enter the URL http://sg.get.go.yahoo.com in your phone web browser and download the Yahoo! Go application. Data charges may apply for application usage.
