RSS, widely known as Really Simple Syndication, is an XML-based format for content distribution.

A newsreader is a program that allows you to read new RSS feeds from a website with the latest information and updates. In new Nokia phones using Symbian 3.1 Operating System, you can access RSS feeds using the web browser. Simply go to Web - Web Feeds - Options - Manage Feeds - New Feed and key in the feeds that you want.

To know whether the website you are visiting supports RSS feeds, simply look out for the RSS icon

Here are some of the RSS feeds you can retrieve when you are on the go, using WLAN or 3G/GPRS.
