What is Nokia Maps?
Nokia Maps is a free tool for selected mobile devices which allows you to download maps, mnaking it easy to locate interesting places or just find where you want to go. 

Nokia Maps also offers more than just a simple map service. You can share the location of specific places with your friends and plan routes between two places. As optional services, Nokia Maps features a fully-fledged navigation system and valuable city guides with loads of great information.

You can use Nokia Maps with or without GPS feature.

Download the Nokia Map
Download the correct version of Nokia Maps to your PC and install it with PC suite or transfer the installer to your phone. Launch the Nokia Maps application on your phone if installed with PC suite or locate the installer and run it. Follow the instructions. Launch application after installation finishes.


Download the Nokia Maploader
Download and install Nokia Map Loader for your Windows ® PC. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation. Download map files with Nokia Map Loader and transfer them to your phone. Start exploring your world!


What are the usage charges?
The software is FREE. However, don’t forget that your mobile network provider might charge for data transfer. We recommend using WLAN connection (such as hotspots). A flashing symbol will tell you when data transfer is taking place. You can also configure the settings to block data transfer.


How do I minimise the cost of data usage for Nokia Maps?
Remember to download the required map info via WLAN or or using PC software Nokia Maploader via Internet broadband before you attempt to use it. Here's how to disable over the air downloading of maps.

1. Select Options	2. Go to Settings
3. Select Network	4. Select Use Network option 'Never'

Type your search
Search for nearby places with the “Search” feature while in the map view.




Search by category
Choose location by selecting it in the category.




Share your world with friends
Tell your friends where you are or where to meet. When you have found the desired place on the map you can send your location information quickly and easily using either Bluetooth, Infrared, MMS or SMS.
